Dr. Arpana Jain is a Burn Surgeon and Associate Medical Director at Arizona Burn Center. She also an Assistant Professor of surgery at University of Arizona and Creighton University. Her portfolio includes medical directorship of Laser Program and Burn surgery fellowship at the Arizona burn center. She received medical degree from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi followed by surgical training at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston and University of Kentucky. She completed Trauma, Critical care and Acute Care fellowships at University of Arizona and a Burn Surgery fellowship with emphasis on pediatric burns at University of California and Shriner’s Hospital. She is also pursuing an Executive MBA at University of Arizona. Her practice includes caring for patients suffering from both acute burn injury and late effects of burns, with a special focus on critically ill burn patients, reconstruction of burn scars and pediatric burn care. She has authored many journal articles, guidelines and book chapters, and is a member of several international surgical societies. She is also involved with promoting Burn education, burn disaster preparedness, best business practices in burn care and diversity-inclusion in surgical care.
