Janice Shin-Kim is an assistant professor at Columbia University Medical Center Emergency Medicine Department. Janice obtained her Emergency Medicine residency training at Mount Sinai Beth Israel, serving as a chief resident physician in her final year. She completed simulation fellowship at NYU/Bellevue Emergency Medicine Department, and she is currently pursuing a Master of Health Professions Education (MHPE). Her academic interests include simulation-based curriculum development for graduate medical education, virtual simulation, and transition of practice in medical education.
