Dr. Chiang received her MD degree from Oregon Health Sciences University (OHSU) and completed her OBGYN residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB). She has served on the faculty at UTMB, University of Alabama in Birmingham (UAB), and has been at the University of Washington since 2006. Dr. Chiang is the Chief for UWMC Women's Health Division and has held many institutional and national roles: UW OBGYN Residency Director, co-Director of Reproductive Endocrinology course for MS 2s, OBGYN Clerkship director and advisor for MS3 & MS4s, medical director for Planned Parenthood of Alabama, and member of ABOG committee, National Board of Medical Examiner Step II committee, CREOG School for Program Directors faculty, CREOG Milestones Implementation task force. She currently serves on the ACGME OBGYN Review Committee and the ABOG Board of Directors. Dr. Chiang’s clinical interest include management of HPV-related genitourinary disorders, pelvic masses/fibroids and abnormal uterine bleeding, perioperative optimization, and minimally invasive surgery including robotics. She is the recipient of numerous medical student and resident teaching awards including the 2018 UW School of Medicine Bruce C. Gilliland Award for Excellence in Teaching of Residents and Fellows
