Nicole Noga is a driven, second-year master’s student at the University of Arkansas working under Dr. Charles Looney in the Animal Science Department. Nicole has a B.S. degree in Animal Science from Southern Arkansas University, where she was active in the Agriculture Department activities. Although she did not grow up with animal agriculture, she is a curious, keen learner, and working in the field of bovine reproductive physiology has become one of her most valued passions.
She has traveled abroad, observing the many faces of animal agriculture and their practices. The knowledge she has acquired through her travels has strongly influenced her desire to enhance and develop current industry practices not just in the U.S. but around the world.
Nicole prides herself on approaching problem-solving holistically and working with her team to create innovative solutions. Based on her experience in leadership positions, she strives to educate, motivate, and inspire those around her.
While in her graduate program, she served as the 2020-2021 President for both the Animal Science Graduate Student Association (ASGSA) and Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources and Related Sciences (MANRRS). She also served as the Animal Science Department representative and 2021 Elections Chair for the Graduate and Professional Student Congress (GPSC).
