Anne Marie Lennon, MD, PhD, MBBCh, FACG, is a Professor of Medicine and Director of the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Lennon recieved her medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, and a PhD from University College Dublin. She completed her residency at the Mater Hospital, Dublin and the Cleveland Clinic, followed by a Gastroenterology Fellowship in Edinburgh, U.K., and Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship at Johns Hopkins. She joined the faculty at Johns Hopkins in 2010. Dr. Lennon's research centers on pre-cancerous lesions of the pancreas, early cancer detection, and translating these technologies into clinical practice. She is the author of over 150 peer-reviewed papers, book chapters, editorials and review articles, and is a Fellow of the ACG, ASGE, and AGA.
