Julia McNabb-Baltar, MD, MPH, is Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. She received her MD from University of Montreal in Canada (Dean’s list). She completed her internal medicine residency training at McGill University, where she also completed her gastroenterology fellowship and advanced endoscopy fellowship and served as a chief resident. She also received her Masters of Public Health at the Harvard Chan School of Public Health. Dr. McNabb-Baltar is a Fellow of the AGA. As the co-director of the Center for Pancreatic Diseases, her major academic interest is focused on resource utilization and, osteopathy in chronic pancreatitis, readmission in acute pancreatitis, COVID and the pancreas, and checkpoint inhibitor induced pancreatitis. She received awards including the rising star award from the American Pancreatic Association in 2018. She serves as a counselor and on the nominating committee of the pancreas section of the AGA.
