Dr. Caitlin O’Shea is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons. She is currently a faculty member at Western University of Health Sciences and works clinically in private practice in Southern California. Following her veterinary degree and internship training, Dr. O'Shea completed the Large Animal Surgery Residency program at Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine and became a Diplomate in 2015. During her time in Virginia, Dr. O’Shea completed a master’s degree in biomedical and veterinary sciences, investigating equine platelet rich plasma (PRP). While working abroad in private practice following residency, she also studied Traditional Chinese Medicine through the Chi Institute. Dr. O’Shea’s interests include wound management, podiatry, and the ongoing oversight of equine athletes.
