Ms. Plionis serves as the Occupational Therapy Consultant for the Army Recovery Care Program (ARCP) and is a licensed Occupational Therapist.
She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Bryn Mawr College in 2008 and her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2010.
Ms. Plionis started working with the military in 2012 as an Occupational Therapist for the Warrior Transition Unit at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. In 2017, she moved into her current role, providing technical and policy oversight to the rehabilitation aspects of the
Soldier Readiness Unit programs. She served as a technical expert on the VA Subcommittee on Veteran Clinical Eligibility Assessments for the Caregiver Support Program in 2019.
