Dr. Katie Geary is Head of Clinical Quality, TRICARE Overseas Program (TOP), International SOS Government Services, Inc.
In this role, Dr. Geary leads all aspects of clinical quality for the TOP. This includes assessing, developing, and sustaining a high-quality vetted and clinically-driven Provider Network, as well as oversight of all quality metrics and analytics, quality improvement initiatives, Network site assessments, and provider accreditation and credentialing activities. With clinical quality as a cornerstone of the TOP 2021 contract and Near Patient Program (NPP) delivery model, Dr. Geary and her team are at the forefront, working side-by-side with our Medical Teams to further improve the delivery of safe, quality care globally. Dr. Geary also serves as the primary clinical quality interface with Medical Leadership at the Defense Health Agency (DHA) and the TRICARE Overseas Program Office (TOPO).
Prior to her current role, Dr. Geary served as Director, Special Projects, Government Services, working closely with the TRICARE Leadership Team and other key stakeholders throughout the organization, providing expert medical input for Government-related, innovation-based programs delivered on behalf of the TOP.
Dr. Geary joined International SOS in 2013 as Medical Director, Assistance, within the London Assistance Center, before being promoted in 2016 to Regional Medical Director, Assistance, in London. She executed this role in a highly committed and diligent manner, effectively overseeing both an extensive Medical Team and the high-quality delivery of medical assistance to members and clients globally, with a focus on Duty of Care.
Dr. Geary underwent undergraduate training in Manchester and was awarded membership with distinction from the Royal College of General Practitioners, and is a Fellow of the Faculty of Public Health in the United Kingdom.
