Lt. Col. Maria M. Molina, M.D., is chief for the Medical Modernization and Simulation Division of J-7, the Education and Training Directorate of the DHA. She is an assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and serves as chair of the Army Central Simulation Committee. She is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, a fellow in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, a fellow in the American College of Surgeons, and a Certified Simulation Health Care expert in the Society for Simulation in Health Care. Lt. Col. Molina’s current efforts include: executing the Total Learning Architecture, providing more meaningful performance metrics and analysis to the MHS; operationalizing and maintaining the MHS Medical Library for use across the military treatment facilities; and integrating the Virtual Education Center into J-7, in order to create a collective effort to improve quality of care and advance patient education.
