Founder and Principal
Evolve Philanthropy LLC
Indianapolis, Indiana, United States
Karrie Zuccarello is the founder and principal of Evolve Philanthropy. She started the firm in 2017 to help nonprofit organizations navigate the world of nonprofit management that she came to know so well as a practitioner.
Leading up to the launch of Evolve Philanthropy, Karrie spent 15 years in the field as a major gift officer, director of development, and chief development officer. Her professional fundraising experience spans educational institutions like the University of Chicago and Indiana University, the health and human services sector via the March of Dimes, and Indiana’s premier cultural institution, Conner Prairie.
As a consultant, Karrie works with organizations to plan and execute multi-million capital campaigns and transition away from their reliance on special events into a more cost-effective, mission-centered model of frontline fundraising. She thrives on helping organizations streamline operations and, as a result, find the time to care for their donors and their fundraisers.
Karrie holds a bachelor’s in nonprofit management from Indiana University. She is a graduate of the Chicago Management Institute at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and the Center for Creative Leadership.
