Holly Franson, DNP, CRNA, works as the Lead CRNA and Clinical Site and Educational Coordinator at the John D. Dingell VAMC in Detroit, Michigan. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Michigan State University, Master of Science in Nursing-Nurse Anesthesia from Oakland University, and Doctor of Nursing Practice from University of St. Augustine. Dr. Franson is a lecturer at Oakland University Beaumont Graduate Program of Nurse Anesthesia, University of Detroit Mercy, and University of Michigan-Flint specializing in regional anesthesia and pain management, advanced health assessment, and research. She has a passion for clinical and didactic anesthesia education focusing on the development and implementation of regional anesthesia workshops and innovative approaches to hands-on learning. She has presented at conferences in topics associated with regional anesthesia and is the recent recipient of Oakland University Outstanding Young Alumni Award and Michigan Association of Nurse Anesthetist Guiding Light Award.
