Philip Wolfart has over 20 years’ experience in information management, working as a librarian in a variety of settings (academic, private, not for profit) where he has provided reference services, helped in acquisitions, and provided training in group and individual settings ranging from undergraduates to professionals. For the last 10 years Philip has been the manager of what is now known as 211 Manitoba where he has been in charge of ensuring searchers can find the most current and complete information about programs operated by non-profit, social, community, and government agencies throughout Manitoba. He sits on national and provincial boards to support community Information and Referral wherever he is able to.
Philip holds an MLIS, as well as an advanced degrees in Historical Geography and an ongoing academic interest in regional identities in 18th and 19th century Europe and Rupertsland.
