I have worked at the Ajax Public Library since 2008, incorporating various open source solutions to our technology offerings. From Ubuntu servers to Linux desktops, our Drupal website, Koha ILS, Aspen catalogue and our in-house developed mobile application, open source has become the cost effective, go to solution for our library.
When exploring solutions to our Library service issues, we look to open source solutions as well as out of the box options.
