GRANNUM R. SANT, MD, FRCS, FACS
Dr. Sant is Professor of Urology and former Chair of Urology and Urology Residency Program Director at Tufts University. He joined the Tufts faculty in 1982 and rose to the position of Chair of Urology before moving to pharma as a physician executive – VP and Head Medical Affairs Oncology and Urology (Sanofi US) and later VP Medical Affairs Rare Diseases (Genzyme). Dr. Sant is an accomplished physician-scientist with numerous National Institutes of Health (NIH-NIDDK) RO1 and industry research awards, co-developed the O’Leary-Sant patient reported outcome questionnaires for Interstitial Cystitis, edited 2 urology textbooks/10 Journal Supplements, published over 130 peer-reviewed manuscripts and serves on the editorial boards of 7 medical journals. He has been Treasurer and President of the New England Section of the AUA, Secretary-Treasurer of the Massachusetts Association of Practicing Urologists (MAPU), Advocacy and Outreach Committee member of the International Society of Medical Publications Professionals (ISMPP) and Urology Council President, National Kidney Foundation (NKF).
