Duncan Wilcox MD, Surgeon in Chief, Chief of Pediatric Urology. Children's Hospital Colorado, University of Colorado. Duncan Wilcox received his medical degree in 1987 from the University of London, England. He joined the Children’s Hospital Colorado in 2008, having previously been faculty at Dallas Children’s Hospital and Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital in London. In addition to his role as Surgeon in Chief, Dr Wilcox is a Professor of Surgery in the Division of Urology, Chief of Pediatric Urology, and the Director of the Center for Children’s Surgery at UCSOM. He also holds the Ponzio Family Endowed Chair for Pediatric Urology and the Ponzio Family Endowed Chair for the Surgeon in Chief. His research interests include: management of neuropathic bladder, use of ERAS in pediatric surgery, cloacal anomalies, and abnormal bladder development. More recently, his academic endeavors have focused on faculty mentorship and faculty research development.
