Bernhard C Meyer, MD, is Associate Professor for Radiology, Head of Vascular and Interventional Radiology in and Vice Chairman of the Department of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology at Hannover Medical School, Germany.
Professor Meyer completed his internship and residency at the University Medicine Berlin – Charité, were he became senior physician in 2010. Since 2011, he chairs the Division of Interventional Radiology at Hannover Medical School, which is one the centers in Europe with the most extensive and comprehensive transplant programs. The Division of Interventional Radiology at Hannover Medical School is mainly focused on oncologic interventions but also covers arterial and venous interventions of any kind. Since 2013, a pulmonary artery intervention program has been successfully initiated. His areas of research include image-guided punctures and interventions; cone beam computed tomography in interventional radiology, computed tomography and 3D post-processing applications.
