Ms. Markland currently holds the position of Veterinary Relations Specialist and is located in Peoria, Arizona. Linda has been involved with the veterinary profession for over 40 years. Her experiences are extremely diverse and broad, ranging from small animal clinical practice to corporate and educational positions, with a special interest in practice management. In her spare time, Linda is a past Chair of the CVMA RVT committee. She is also a member of CVMA, the Allied Industry Committee, SCVMA, SCVMA Para Professional Association, CARVTA, NAVTA, VHMA, AVTE, and Pacific Veterinary Conference Committee where she acts as a chair for the practice management tract. She is also a member of VetPartners, where she is a member of the Program Committee. She was the President of the Orange County Technician Association for five years. She enjoys speaking to technicians and hospital teams on a variety of subjects, including pet insurance, team building, and leadership. In 2012, she won the CVMA Outstanding RVT in Non-Private Practice and the Board of Governors renamed the award the Linda Markland Award thereafter. In 2015, Linda received the SCVMA Paraprofessional of the Year Award, 2016 she received the VHMA President's Award and in 2017 she received a Special Recognition Award from WVC.
