Grey Wolf has been with the Department of State Lands (DSL) for two years. Before joining DSL, Grey was the Green Stormwater Infrastructure Specialist and Natural Areas Program Coordinator with the City of Salem, Oregon, in their Public Works Department. Grey has also worked in the Midwest as the Mitigation Coordinator for the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency, Division of Surface Water (Columbus, OH). At both Oregon DSL and Ohio EPA, Grey has been a member of that state’s Interagency Review Team (IRT). Grey specializes in natural areas management and stream and wetland mitigation project planning, execution, monitoring and maintenance. Grey’s particular interest areas include local solutions to watershed impairments and vehicles/drivers for ecosystem adaptation in the face of human disturbance (e.g. climate change). Grey attended Miami University of Ohio where they received a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and a Master’s Degree in Environmental Science. In their free time, Grey loves to hike, take road trips and hang with their pup “Beanie”.
