Katherine Pratt is the Foreman Biodiversity Fellow at Stetson University College of Law where she works in support of the Institute for Biodiversity Law and Policy. She earned her BS at the University of Tennessee in Environmental Science in 2016 and her JD from Stetson Law with a concentration in Environmental Law in 2019. While in undergraduate and law school, she participated in several internships, including with the Tennessee Department of Environmental and Conservation, the City of St. Petersburg, Ocean Conservancy, and NOAA. Prior to earning her degrees, she was on active duty with the U.S. Navy. In her spare time, she volunteers with the nonprofit Sea Turtle Trackers, Inc., locating sea turtle nests, conducting nesting surveys, and educating the public on sea turtle conservation in Pinellas County, Florida.
