Jason has been with the Service for over 22 years. Starting in the Northeast Region, he has worked in the West Virginia Field Office and Chesapeake Bay Field Office. There, he focused on civil works, restoration of Chesapeake habitats and management of island wildlife. Today, he works at U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Headquarters in the Ecological Services program. His work relates to many aspects of the authorities the Service uses to ensure wildlife is conserved in the course of project review processes. In particular, he has focused on the development of national mitigation policies. He lives in Maryland with his wife and two sons.
