Andrew Bzowyckyj, PharmD, BCPS, CDCES is an Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Pacific University Oregon School of Pharmacy. He earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Connecticut School of Pharmacy and subsequently completed the Pharmaceutical Care Leadership Residency program at the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy. After completing residency training, Dr. Bzowyckyj joined the faculty at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) School of Pharmacy and established and developed a clinical practice in the primary care and endocrinology clinics at Truman Medical Centers in Kansas City, Missouri providing comprehensive medication management for patients, with an emphasis in diabetes. In his current position, Dr. Bzowyckyj cares for patients in the primary care setting with the Legacy Medical Group in Beaverton, Oregon. His teaching, research, and practice experiences include diabetes & other metabolic conditions, health economics and policy, leadership development, critical thinking & problem solving, and curricular design & assessment.
