Reed is a doctoral student in the Organizational Science program at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where his research pursuits include occupational stress and burnout. Reed obtained his Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy and subsequently completed two years of pharmacy residency training at the University of North Carolina Medical Center. Prior to returning to school, Reed practiced for nearly ten years as a pharmacist specializing in cardiology, most recently at the University of Maryland Medical Center. Reed has been a faculty member at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy since 2013, where he continues to maintain a research affiliation. Reed began his transition into organizational research with a master’s degree in Applied Psychology at the University of Baltimore in 2020. He can be found on Twitter at @brentnreed.
