Tolga Erim, DO, is the Chair of the Department of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition, the Director of Endoscopy at Cleveland Clinic Weston and the Director of Endoscopy at Cleveland Clinic for the Florida region. He holds the Lynda and Marlin Younker Endowed Chair in Developmental Endoscopy. He received his undergraduate degree from Vassar College and received his osteopathic medical degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Erim's early postgraduate training took place in Cleveland Clinic Florida where he did his Internal Medicine residency, Chief residency, and Gastroenterology fellowship. He received his Advanced Endoscopy training at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical School. Dr. Erim's areas of clinical interests revolve around developing tools and techniques for advanced endoscopic procedures which minimize risk, discomfort and recovery time for patients.
