Brenda Jimenez, MD, is the Vice-Chair of the Department of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition, the Co-Chair of the Inherited Colorectal Cancer and Polyposis Center in Cleveland Clinic Florida. She received her medical degree from the Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE) in the Dominican Republic. She began her postgraduate training in St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Massachusetts, where she did her Internal Medicine residency and Chief Residency. Dr. Jimenez's areas of clinical interest include management of patients with inherited colorectal cancer, improving ways to identify patients at risk for hereditary cancer syndromes, and gastrointestinal motility.
