W. Anthony Lee, MD, FACS is a Board Certified Vascular Surgeon and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He graduated from Princeton University with a degree in Electrical Engineering and his medical degree from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in 1992. Dr. Lee went on to complete a residency in General Surgery at University of Michigan and a Fellowship in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at Stanford University. In 2000, he started on the faculty of University of Florida College of Medicine Division of Vascular Surgery, where he developed a nationally-recognized endovascular program in minimally-invasive treatment of complex aortic aneurysms. Dr. Lee joined the medical staff of Boca Raton Regional Hospital in 2010, where he currently serves as the Chief of Vascular Surgery, as well as a Clinical Professor of Surgery at FAU College of Medicine. He has been the Past President of the Florida Vascular Society and is a Distinguished Member of the Society for Vascular Surgery. He has served on the Editorial Board of several prominent, peer-reviewed scientific journals. He has authored over 30 book chapters, 120 articles in peer-reviewed journals, 350 presentations at national and international meetings, and served as the principle investigator in over 25 medical device clinical trials. His practice encompasses endovascular and open surgical treatments of the entire spectrum of vascular diseases, with a focus towards complex thoracic and thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysms and dissections.
