Matt McDonough is the Vice President of National Network Strategy on the UnitedHealthcare Networks Strategy team. In this role McDonough works to develop new approaches to partnering with health care professionals on cost and quality initiatives. Prior to joining UnitedHeatlhcare, McDonough spent two years on the UnitedHealthcare commercial product team and 12 years at Optum in the health and wellness and pharmacy divisions. McDonough earned his bachelor's degree in marketing from Iowa State University, his MBA from the University of St. Thomas, and his law degree from William Mitchell College of Law.
