Elizabeth Hampton, MA, CCC-SLP received her bachelor’s from Boston University and is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin master’s program in Speech-Language Pathology. She has had the great fortune to be mentored and collaborate with Dr. Courtney Byrd since 2006, dedicating her professional life to serving people who stutter and their families and mentoring students. She has played an integral role in the growth of programming at the Michael and Tami Lang Stuttering Institute, the Dealey Family Stuttering Clinic, the Bodner Developmental Stuttering Lab, and is now honored to continue her work as the Director of Clinical Research within the Arthur M. Blank Center for Stuttering Education and Research. Her publications and outreach efforts reflect her commitment to furthering best treatment practices for individuals who stutter and to providing clinicians with the tools and information necesary to confidently meet the needs of those who stutter.
