Emily Miller-Lehr, RDH, M.Ed. is a registered dental hygienist in Phoenix, Arizona. She received her initial dental hygiene education from Rio Salado Community College in Tempe, AZ. She holds a Master’s in Education with an emphasis on adult learning from Northern Arizona University. Emily serves on several dental hygiene advisory boards for Phoenix College, Rio Salado Community College and Carrington College, Phoenix.
Prior to her work with Aspen Dental, she served as the Senior Lead Faculty for Fortis College, Phoenix. Here, she taught didactic courses and managed the Senior clinical dental hygiene student experience. She and her Fortis College team took an early adaptation of the AAP clinical guidelines, where she was responsible for the AAP guideline changes for students and senior adjunctive clinical faculty.
When Miller-Lehr moved to Aspen Dental Management she first served as the Territory Manager of Hygiene Support, where she and her team worked to share AAP guidelines with 24 offices in Arizona and New Mexico. Currently, Miller-Lehr is the Academic and Industry Relations Manager for Aspen Dental Management. Here she works with dental hygiene leaders, school administrators, faculty, and students to support dental hygienists and help hygienists discover Aspen Dental. From yoga courses to career fairs and everything in between, Emily does whatever it takes to support dental hygienists.
