Greg Buehler, MD, MBA is the Vice Chair of Operations and Quality at Baylor College of Medicine. He received his medical degree from
Vanderbilt University. He completed his Emergency Medicine residency at the University of Pennsylvania and a fellowship in administration at Christiana Care in Delaware. Upon completion of his training, he held leadership and quality roles in the Section of Emergency Medicine (Dept of Medicine) at Baylor College of Medicine for five years. In 2011, Dr. Buehler completed a Master of Business Administration at the University of
Tennessee in 2011. He then joined the Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group in 2014 as the service chief for Acute Care Services in DC/Suburban Maryland; in 2018, he was appointed Regional Medical Director for Acute Care Services, a role he served in until returning to Baylor College of Medicine in 2020.
