David Duong is the Associate Residency Program Director for the Highland Hospital EM Program in Oakland, CA. He is also an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at University of California, San Francisco. He is in the Academy of Medical Educators at UCSF and on the ACEP Education Committee. His research and academic interests include diversity and inclusion in emergency medicine, for which he has published and lectured nationally. He also directs the Highland Social EM Research Externship, a professional development program for underrepresented medical students.
