After receiving his medical degree from Harvard Medical School, Charles completed his residency training in Emergency Medicine at the Stanford/Kaiser program in Palo Alto, CA. He then completed a one-year fellowship in Emergency Medicine Simulation at Stanford. He currently serves as the Simulation Fellowship Director and Assistant Director of Undergraduate Medical Education in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Vanderbilt University. His academic interests include medical education, curriculum development, and quality improvement.
