Brad Riley MD, FACEP, FACMT is an Associate Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at MSU-CHM and Director of the Division of Medical Toxicology. He graduated from the University of Michigan Medical School in 2001, and then completed an Emergency Medicine residency at MSU/Spectrum Health. This was followed by a Fellowship in Medical Toxicology at UA/Banner Good Samaritan in Phoenix Arizona. He returned to Grand Rapids MI in 2006 where he was the Associate Program Director of the Emergency Medicine Residency Program while working as an Attending in the Adult and Pediatric Emergency Departments. He also ran a busy Medical Toxicology consult service. His interest in Addiction Medicine grew out of his experiences in these two clinical arenas, and he obtained Fellowship board certification in 2020. He now runs an inpatient consult Addiction Medicine service, and also works at outpatient methadone and buprenorphine clinics.
