Central Engineering and Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
Bob is currently the Senior Vice President of Central Engineering and Chief Technology Officer, responsible for the research and development of packaging solutions across all K&S products.
He started his career at K&S in the 1980’s and has held many roles in the organization such as wire bonding development engineer, equipment development Director, and Vice President of Process Engineering. He was at the forefront of the technology development for Copper wire bonding. He now is leading our R&D and pathfinding for advanced packaging.
Bob has more than 30 years of experience in the semiconductor industry and has published more than 50 papers with multiple patents.
Bob holds a Bachelor’s degree and a Master of Science degree and in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University. He has also completed courses on Management Studies at Stanford University and MIT Sloan.
