Jens Engelhart studied chemistry in Heidelberg (Germany) and Bristol (UK) from 2006 to 2011. For his PhD thesis from 2011-2015 Jens worked on “The investigation of large linear N-heteroacenes as charge transport materials” in the group of Prof. Bunz at the University of Heidelberg (Germany). During his post-doc stay with Prof. Swager at the MIT (Cambridge, USA) Jens focused on the synthesis of TADF active polymers for display applications. Since 2016 Jens has worked for Merck where he is currently responsible as senior project manager for the development of hole transport materials.
