Ju Young Yook is the Product Development in R&D group of Dow Chemical Consumer Solution, and his research area are focused on material science, filler-filled silicone composites, optical materials, and ultraviolet curable materials. He started his career at Dow in 2012 on the Electronic program. He worked on a variety of commercial projects including white reflective materials, thermal conductive adhesives, and optically clear iltraviolet Curable Silicone Resins. He commercialized several products including DOWSIL(TM) WR series for Lighting Business, and DOWSIL(TM) VE-2001 and VE-2003 UV for Automotive Displays. His research activities of key projects was recognized by nomination at two R&D 100 Award Finalist (2017), and winner of Edision Award (2019). And, he has 15 patent applications.
