Miss. Zheng-Nan Yuan (SID Student Membership) was born in 1997. During 2018, she received her first-class honored B.Eng and B, Sc from Glasgow College, UESTC. She is a PhD candidate supervised by Prof. Abhishek Kumar Srivastava at State Key Laboratory of Advanced Displays and Optoelectronics Technologies, Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Clear Water Bay, Kowloon, Hong Kong since 2018. Her research field is mainly about ferroelectric liquid crystal for LiDAR applications; amplitude and phase modulation device (Received Distinguished Paper Award in PGWS 2021, HK) based on fast liquid crystal. In 2021, she received the Academic Excellence Award for Continuing PhD Student, HKUST. Until now, she has published 23 papers in different conferences and journals and holds 3 patents.
