Bing Shen has over 25 years research and development experience in optical and electronic fields. Prior to joining Bright View, Bing held multiple lead technical positions at companies from startups to large established corporations. Some of his notable inventions include: the first movable CMOS-process-made MEMS mirror device recognized by “EE Times”; 2D tileable x-ray detector architectures, widely adopted in modern computed tomography systems; large scale integrated micro thermoelectric device made by an IC (integrated circuit) fabrication process; alignment-free micro optics achieving numerous highly desirable optical functions for applications covering display, 3D sensing and lighting.
Bing earned his BS degree from Zhejiang University and his MS degree and PhD from University of Alberta.
