Ray-Kuang Chiang is a distinguished professor in Materials Science and Engineering Department and the director of Nanomateials Laboratory at Far East University (Taiwan). He received his B.S. in chemistry from National Tsing Hua University in 1988 and his Ph. D. in Chemistry from Case Western Reserve University in 1995. He has extensive experience in synthesis of nanomaterials, and he established the Nanomateials Laboratory at FEU, where a pilot plant fulfills the various request of nanoparticles from industry of Taiwan. His current research interests include hybrid nanoparticle-polymer functional materials for display applications, quantum dot light-emitting diodes, and charge transport oxide nanoparticles.
