For high luminance intensity and uniform to implement highly immersive and seamless virtual reality (VR), we have designed the innovating optical structure on an ultra-high ppi OLED and verified the superior optical performance of it. Our OLCP (optical light control patterns) structure could concentrate the emission energy into the useful cone angle, and enhance the luminance intensity of light which inputs into the lens optical system. Besides, by the slight scattering effect of sloped metal thin layer on the structure, luminance uniformity could be remarkably advanced. We could demonstrate that the output luminance intensity was increased by 80% compare with the conventional VR display with the same resolution, and the uniformity was also improved by 40% compare with the previous structure using by differences of the refractive index. Clearly, it can be expected that the reported structure will be a significant breakthrough for overcoming the limited obstacles to disturb the realization of an amazing immersive VR
