Quantum Dot Light Emitting diodes (QLEDs) show promise in the development of next-generation displays due to high color purity, very narrow full width half-maximum, and high quantum yields. In this review paper we summarized the latest progress to improve the efficiency of Cd-free QLEDs, and the recent developments on QLEDs patterning process based on ink-jet printing and photolithography technology.
