Efficient detection of response time issues for high frame rate displays including 120 Hz TVs and gaming monitors with 240 fps or higher is proposed. Unwanted features of response time are directly exposed in noticeable artifacts by the proposed pattern sequences, enabling quick and easy evaluation of motion performance.
