Dr. Nicole Winitsky is a senior prosthodontic consultant at the Folktandvården Eastman Dental Institute, Public dental health service and a PhD-student at the Faculty of odontology, Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden. She received her DDS from the Karolinska Institute in 1997 and was Board Certified as a specialist in Prosthodontics in 2012.
Her clinical focus is prosthodontics and implantology in children and young adults with hereditary dental defects or traumas. Her research "Implants in the anterior maxilla” has been rewarded with “the Gold prize for best prosthodontic research" by the Swedish Prosthodontic association and twice with “the EAO Prize for clinical research in Implant Dentistry” by the European association for Osseointegration. She works on a regular basis with lecturing and giving courses nationally and internationally. She is the founder and host of the Swedish odontological podcast “Blodad tand”.
