Karleen is a non-profit executive with 24 years of experience in human services. Prior to joining Partners Health Plan, she was Director of Employment Services at a non-profit, overseeing programs such as day habilitation and supported employment. She was instrumental in developing affirmative business models that support gainful work for adults with developmental disabilities. Karleen has served on various advocacy committees, as a DEI educator, and worked as an adjunct faculty at Nassau Community College. Currently, she is the Chief of Member Relations, after serving in various positions, including Chief of Care Coordination. She serves on NY State's DD Advisory Council sub-committee on housing, is a licensed Health Agent in NY; holds an undergraduate degree in psychology and a master’s in management from the State University of NY.
