Session Description: Self-advocate panelists from around the country will share their experiences in leadership roles. They will share what support was helpful (and not!) and offer tips and best practices that supporters can use to authentically engage people with disabilities in leadership roles.

Learning Objectives:

Support self-advocates in authentically engaging in leadership roles and opportunities at various levels within any organization.
promote, foster, and engage self advocates on how to best include them within their organizations work.
Have a clearer understanding of best practices that organizations can adopt to authentically engage self-advocates.
