Susan Mee, J.D.
Susan Mee is an attorney, mediator, advocate and consultant with a person-centered approach. Her focus is on advancing the rights of people with disabilities and others in traditionally marginalized populations. Her breadth of experience in leadership positions with governmental and non-profit agencies provides her with a unique knowledge base and skill. She works at the case and systemic levels in collaboration with individuals in need of legal services, non-profits and other entities.
Areas include:
• Representation of individuals with disabilities and support for advocacy agencies and other entities in the area of Supported Decision-making (SDM)
• Legal services as attorney, Guardian Ad Litem or Attorney At Litem on conservatorship and related matters
• Consultation and advocacy at various levels related to Intellectual Disabilities (ID)/Developmental Disabilities (DD), behavioral health, disability discrimination, child welfare, rights, system and program design and oversight, compliance, and quality improvement
• Mediation services
