Program Coordinator

Penny Johnson is the Program Coordinator for the Tennessee Center for Decision-Making Support. Penny joined The Arc Tennessee in July of 2020 to oversee the project from the website and program development to the ongoing management of the day-to-day activities and services.
Penny has over eighteen years of diverse social services experience and ten years in private sector employment. Prior to joining The Arc Tennessee, she worked as a Pre-Employment Services Coordinator for youth with disabilities. Penny’s previous work experience includes eligibility work, case management, program management, program and training development, and policy and computer systems design.
Through her personal experience in caring for family members with disabilities, Penny understands the importance of decision-making support planning. She is dedicated to the Center's goal of providing awareness and education regarding decision-making support options and ensuring each person has a voice in the decisions that impact their lives.
