Session Description: This session will address The Arc's advocacy on behalf of voters with disabilities through a discussion of the legal rights of people with disabilities to access their right to vote, specific cases The Arc is involved in, and stories from chapters on their involvement in this work. Tips will also be shared on how you can get involved in ensuring people with disabilities can access their right to vote.

Learning Objectives:

Learn from The Arc's legal director about how voter suppression laws harm voters with disabilities and what voters with disabilities can do when they encounter barriers to voting.
Hear from chapters of The Arc in Texas and Georgia about how they've become involved in voting rights work through public policy and litigation.
Hear from The Arc's Senior Director of Advocacy & Mobilization about how chapters and their members can become involved directly in voting rights advocacy and disability voter registration.
