Lisa Pitler is both a healthcare attorney and master's educated Hematology/Oncology nurse and is certified in Healthcare Research Compliance (CHRC). She has expertise in research and regulatory compliance surrounding healthcare, research administration, and human subject protections with a focus on the life cycle of drugs and devices. She has experience developing, conducting, and managing all aspects of clinical research, drug, and device clinical trials, and developing Compliance programs and initiatives. She also has a special interest in healthcare insurance, including Medicare/ Medicaid and third-party commercial insurance, and clinical trial billing compliance.
As a lifelong Chicagoan, Lisa has practiced nursing at AMCs in the Chicago area. She has also served in senior leadership positions at Rush University Medical Center and the University of Illinois at Chicago. Additionally, Lisa also has prior experience working in Biotechnology, Contract Research Organizations, and Consulting.
