Dr. Huang is a drug development physician with a foundation in primary care medicine and industry experience developing small molecules, biologics, and oligonucleotide therapeutics. Dr. Huang received his bachelor’s degree in molecular and cell biology from the University of California at Berkeley, medical degree from the Chicago Medical School, and post-graduate internship and residency training from the University of California at Irvine / Long Beach Memorial. Dr. Huang has held numerous senior roles at biopharmaceutical companies including Auspex, Regulus, Spruce Biosciences, AmMax Bio, and most recently, DTx Pharma. He has provided medical and scientific leadership across several therapeutic areas including oncology, neurology, and rare/orphan diseases from early clinical development through marketing authorization. Dr. Huang's efforts have led to the approvals of multiple therapeutics over the past several years, including Potiga™, Zevalin®, Uceris®, Ruconest®, and Austedo™. Dr. Huang is the author or co-author of numerous peer-reviewed journal articles, abstracts, and scientific publications.
